DIETs were created in the early
1990s to strengthen elementary education and support the decentralization of
education to the district level, under the Centrally Sponsored Scheme on
Teacher Education. DIETs offer pre-service and in-service teacher training
programmes for government elementary Importance of Education school
teachers. They also undertake studies in education, annual academic planning
and reviews and function as resource centres for teaching learning and material
development. DIETs are functioning in the country with an annual intake
capacity of students.
We are pleased to inform you that
new, data-base driven, dynamic web-portals for all colleges have been launched.
There dynamic websites will now act as a single source of authentic information.
All Colleges can now update their dynamic websites, in-house, using simple
interfaces. Please update the website immediate Education Portal as the
students is referring to the new college web-portal for making their decisions
on selection of colleges/ courses for admission. All colleges can now
discontinue their old static websites so as to ensure a single source of
authentic information is available to students, parents and other stakeholders.
On technical front, we launched
both android app and online website. There is supports internationalization
(can be access in Hindi and English) and also has localization capability
(reports can be configured based on school parameters). It is a highly scalable
system hosted Education Blog India on Google Cloud Platform and can
automatically scale up to bear load of millions of users. Currently, system is
99% online in production and is used by authorized users (school, teacher and
immediate executive are the main stockholders as of now) through phones or
computers. All medical aspirants can now appear for NEET this year irrespective
of their age, as the Supreme Court resided CBSE's decision to fix an upper age
limit of 25 years for taking the entrance examination for MBBS course. The
decision taken by Central Board of Secondary Education to fix upper age limit
on the directorial instruction of Medical Council of India seemed incorrect and
students should not be expelled from appearing in entrance examination for
